On December 17, 2023, institutional neglect inside a migrant "shelter" for Venezuelan migrants in Chicago took the life of Jean Carlos Martinez Rivero, age 5.  - El 17 de diciembre de 2003, la negligencia institucional dentro de un refugio para migrantes en Chicago le quitó la vida a Jean Carlos Martinez Rivero, de 5 años.
