This workshop was organized as part of a city-wide activist gathering at PO Box Collective in Rogers Park. It is the third in a series of in-depth workshops about the political economy of migrant child detention. The first workshop is an Introduction and overview. The second connects it to other racialized carceral systems. The third is an in-depth look at how the overall business of child detention was retooled in the wake of the COVID pandemic, the Afghanistan airlift and the war in Ukraine.
