This project is created in partnership with several community groups including Little Village Solidarity Network, Chicago Anti Detention Network, Rogers Park Solidarity Network, ProtestArte @ Yolotl Social Center, Blood Fruit Library and Printworks. It strives to be faithful to these partnerships and be accountable to them.
This project was produced in community spaces built and nurtured by many people. The content was directly shaped by their guidance, expertise, material support, creative energies and labor. They provided testimonies, often at great risk and great cost. They conducted primary research in documents and neighborhoods. They labored in late-night meetings and all-day marches, vigils, solidarity demos, letter-writing campaigns, singalongs and community ceremony.
